Responsibilities
Experience in maintaining LAN network infrastructure (Cisco catalyst switch series, Cisco router series or any other well known make such as Juniper, Extreme, Huawei etc)
Perform firewall administration in security devices (e.g. Cisco ASA, PIX, Nokia Checkpoint, Juniper Netscreen, Fortinet or Sidewinder)
Perform impact assessment of security vulnerabilities to infrastructure
Managed daily operation and maintenance of OS server (Unix and redHat)
Maintain DNS entries and administration in (Unix & Redhat-NOMINON) or Windows 2003 Advance server
Preparing SOP and technical documentation and troubleshoot guide for system maintained.
Requirements
At least 2 years hands on experience with DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and VoIP / IP Telephony system
Working knowledge of Linux/Free BSD/Windows System Administration, with unix shell scripting skill, is an advantage.
Ability to manage, analyze IPS/IDS logs and event results will be advantageous.
Minimum CCNA certified.
Certification in firewall products is preferred.
Certification in 1 or more OS-related certification e.g. Solaris, Redhat, MCSE etc, is an advantage
Ability to learn new skills, on the job
Team player, independent, motivated, self initiated individual
Good analytical, troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills
