Senior Supplier Development Engineer

Responsibilities
Develop collaborative working relationships with suppliers to identify production constraints for on-time delivery of purchased components
Develop, execute and modify project strategies for critical suppliers and components,
Educate and support suppliers, work with supplier teams to implement optimal manufacturing processes.
Interfaces with the suppliers’ engineering, manufacturing and procurement departments to drive cost effective manufacturing process.
Work with global supplier alliance teams, suppliers and product design teams to promote smooth introduction of changes to existing products.
Provide technical leadership, support and guidance to Supplier Development Engineers
Requirements
Bachelor degree with at least 5 years relevant experience
Good understanding of component manufacturing process with extensive quality management experience of battery assembly and power supply.
Project Management and consulting skills, advanced negotiation skills, strong communication skills & business acumen
Demonstrated ability to build strategic partner relationships
Lean Six-sigma quality process knowledge
Well verse with statistical quality control methodologies and tools
Able to travel for up to 25%
