Responsibilities
Reporting to HR Director in Singapore, you will manage two staff and provide full HR spectrum support in HR advisory services, support, staffing and HR delivery.
Collaborates with managers and HR specialists in resolving individual performance challenges
Coaches managers and employees on dealing effectively with complaints
Actively oversees corporate employee communication and engagement initiatives to ensure clarity, responsiveness, and positive reception
Effectively reviews and provides oversight with pay related decisions to ensure equity, legal and fiscal integrity
Acts as the interface to HR Centers of Excellence corporate practices and policies, providing the criteria and guidelines to follow in decision-making involving human resources
Maintains the day-to-day functioning of the organization from an HR perspective to ensure compliance with policy and documented HR practices
Implements HR strategies and programs within client groups, and consults with HR specialist functions to achieve the particular needs of the business
Develops and maintains a deep understanding of local legal/ regulatory requirements related to the rights and benefits of labor
Partners with corporate HR to ensure a clear understanding of HR initiatives targeted for global roll-out
Monitors and troubleshoots the local implementation of HR initiatives, to ensure success
Applies understanding of local market practices (cultural, comp, benefits, hiring strategies, etc.) in decision making
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Business/HR with at least 8 years of MNC experience
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Understands system compliance. Experience in Oracle HRIS system is a plus
Strong attention to details, Careful and meticulous with numbers
Team player with strong communication skills and an ability to influence others
Excellent organizational skills, a customer service orientation with excellent execution and follow-through skills
Positive attitude
Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin
Able to travel 10%
