Regional Category Manager, Indirect Spend & Logistics

Responsibilities
Responsible for supplier selection, negotiation process for regional suppliers and manage supplier contracts
Strategic sourcing activities for category, with the goal of achieving significant initial cost reductions while maintaining/improving product quality and supplier service levels
Plan, organize, direct and control activities related to category of spend managed
Ensure execution of category strategies and accountable for implementation of all regional cost optimization initiatives
Identifying new trends or innovations for savings, cost avoidance or added value benefits
Requirements
Minimum five years of procurement experience within indirect spend across region
Strategic purchasing experience such as RFQ for logistics
You have demonstrated category expertise and sourcing / procurement experience and proven track record in Supplier and Contract Management
Good negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills
Good command of English
Working location – Tuas ( company provide transport pick up island wide)
