Regional Product Manager

Responsibilities
Lead portfolio analysis, product life cycle management and conduct annual portfolio audit. Develop plans to address overlaps or gaps in product offerings and ensure alignment to regional product standardization strategies.
Conduct product and key feature prioritization, trade off analysis and change management based on market insights, competitive trends and commercial needs.Recommend and lead implementation for consolidation and removal of products, considering market and commercial requirements with profitability and manufacturing efficiency.
Develop tools and reporting to provide portfolio visibility to all relevant stakeholders
Maintain and publish concise list of all active parts quarterly
Collaborate with Brand management to align brand and product strategies
Work with commercial stakeholders and functional teams to address business issues.
Advocate voice of customer, market, product requirements in product planning, development and launch process
Drive weekly product review process with Commercial Sales, Brand, Product Development and Operations, to ensure new or changed products requests be discussed and decided for support and fulfilment, in consensus.
Develop value propositions, product and technology advantages, with Brand and Marketing management, for product marketing materials.
Performs tasks as assigned, in response to changing business needs.
Requirements
Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of product & project management hands-on execution experience. Knowledge of automotive batteries or energy storage products a plus.
Strong capacity for identifying, analyzing and maintaining portfolio list and Microsoft Excel savvy.
Ability to identify and implement process improvement and change management with positive business results and efficiency
Effective written, verbal and presentation skills – able to engage with functional teams and customers
Demonstrated understanding of business operations, product and project management.
Ability to work well in autonomous or collaborative settings.
Excellent critical thinking with ability to translate strategy into actions and results
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Willingness to travel.
